What is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course?
The Advanced Open Water Diver Course is all about experience-based learning. You’ll complete five specialty dives, each introducing you to new techniques, environments, and possibilities.
Here’s what to expect:

Deep Dive: Extend your depth limit to 100 feet (30 meters) while learning how pressure affects you and your gear.

Underwater Navigation: Enhance your compass use and natural navigation skills so you can explore with confidence.

Peak Performance Buoyancy: Fine-tune your trim, breathing, and control to glide effortlessly and reduce air consumption.

Two Elective Adventure Dives: Choose from options like Underwater Photography, Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Drift Diving, Search & Recovery, and more!

What's included?
Full Gear Provided: We ensure that you have everything you need to dive with confidence—all scuba gear is provided for the course, including mask, fins, wetsuit, regulator, and BCD.
*Gear available for purchase upon request.
Full Access: Your Advanced Open Water Course will take place at Lake Longhorn, a popular local dive site equipped with training docks, staging areas, and shaded rest zones. The lake features a variety of underwater obstacles, themed structures, and diver-accessible platforms that support skill development, navigation practice, and exploration.

No Hidden Fees: Everything you need is covered—gear and lake entry. There are no surprise charges or add-ons.
*This all-inclusive package is based on the successful completion of all scheduled training dives within the standard course timeline. If additional training days or sessions are required due to missed dives or the need for further practice, additional fees will apply.
Once certified, you’ll be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, which will allow you to dive to a depth of 100 feet (30 meters) and explore more challenging dive sites around the world! 🤿🌍🎉
Prerequisites:

You must have a PADI OW Diver or qualifying entry-level certification.

You must be at least 12 years old to enroll.
(Divers aged 12-14 years old receive a Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification.) -
You must complete a PADI Diver Medical form.
(If any conditions are flagged, a doctor’s clearance will be required prior to any in-water activities.)
